Primtech is the state-of-the-art software solution for design, construction, documentation and maintenance of substations. High-voltage equipment, substructures, cable ducts, wires, tubes, clamps, roads and fences can be easily selected from a comprehensive library, and placed as intelligent 3D objects on a voltage-dependent grid.

The automatic generation of BOMs and CAD drawings relieve the designer from routine tasks, shorten project run times and avoid errors. Primtech supports the designer throughout all project phases and improves quality and consistency of the entire workflow.

Accurate Substation Design

 

Automatically sizes Cables, Transformers, Buses, and Protective Devices to achieve proper size and ratings that meets criteria limits set by the Equipment Evaluation study.  This software is best suited for new system designs or to resolve undersized and/or over-dutied equipment for existing systems. Includes user-defined Design libraries to specify equipment that is often purchased.

Study Options:

  • Auto size devices with status of Unknown, Failed, Marginal, Passed from Equipment Evaluation.
  • Design libraries can be set for cables, buses, transformers, and protective devices.
  • Design libraries can be saved for use in new projects or for company-wide sharing.
  • Sort library models to be used in auto sizing based on a sizing order in each voltage level.
  • Auto size using libraries already linked to a device or auto size based on design libraries.

CYME Load Relief DER Optimization module helps engineers with the evaluation of load relief projects using battery energy storage systems (BESS) as well as dispatchable and non-dispatchable generation.
